“Study Says IT Spending Grew 6%”
September 3,2011 –Finance analysts were surprised to have a recorded growth in IT Spending despite ananticipated 3 percent fall in the second quarter. Report from Maven Wave Partners said IT Spending grew by 6 percent during the second quarter, with companies increasing their IT payrolls by 9.1 percent.
The boost, according to Maven Wave Partners, was because of an increased hardware sales which made up for the weak software sales.
“It’s clear that despite our conservative estimates, and despite a slight tap on the brakes in first quarter for software spending, IT spending growth overall continued at a blistering pace,” the report said.
